How to read this map
ICP category — the five switches below. The asker’s relationship to LabResearch: a first-time buyer, an existing lab, LabResearch’s own technical and sales staff, an outside distributor or marketplace channel, or a platform capability shown on its own.

The job (JTBD) — the green block. Not what they typed, but the goal behind it. In a reagent catalogue the same question often hides very different jobs depending on whether a scientist or a purchaser is asking.

“Lead with this” ribbon — the single highest-priority item: one product carrying three different part numbers across the site. The recommended opening for a first conversation.
Data gap — the clay chip. The published site cannot answer this today. These are not demo failures; they are the specific things worth fixing, found on paper rather than live in front of your team.

This is the layer we build before any live demo: understand who is actually asking and what job they are really trying to get done, so gaps show up here, on paper, instead of live in front of your team. Seventeen of these forty cards carry a data gap, which is high, and that is the useful finding. Storage conditions, shelf life, troubleshooting, service turnaround, automation validation and competitor comparison data are all absent from the published site.
The wedge here is configuration, not availability. A buyer arriving at this catalogue usually knows their biology and not their part number: which donor and which acceptor, which capture chemistry for which tag, which of three platforms for which sample. Order two acceptors instead of a donor-acceptor pair and the assay returns no signal at all, having consumed a reagent that costs between $775 and $31,375.
The one thing worth leading with is the identifier problem. A single product appears as the page URL /omdk-htnfa, the catalogue part number OMDK-C6HTNFA, and the e-Store SKU OMDK-HTNFA. Pack-size suffixes then split again between a hyphen and an underscore depending on the family, and the Unibeads pages drop the OMTB prefix altogether. Alongside an e-Store that prices every item at $0.00, that is the clearest possible demonstration of what a catalogue answer layer is for.
