Oxygen-Mediated Bead Proximity Assay
OMEGA (Oxygen MEdiated/Gated Assay) uses Sensibeads (donor, excitation 680 nm) and Chemibeads (acceptor, emission 615 nm). Singlet oxygen produced by excited Sensibeads travels up to 200 nm to activate nearby Chemibeads — signal is proportional to bead proximity, which reflects binding interaction strength.

The PerkinElmer EnVision is compatible with EnLIGHT OMEGA — it supports AlphaScreen/AlphaLISA mode which uses the same 680 nm excitation / 615 nm emission optical path.
